| Der Botanische Garten Berlin-Dahlem hat derzeit etwa 60 Palmenarten mit rund 350 Individuen in Kultur. Nicht alle unsere Palmen sind für die Besucher zugänglich, doch allein im Tropenhaus werden 36 Gattungen mit 47 Arten gezeigt. Unseren Palmenpfad können Sie ganzjährig in den Gewächshäusern und bis Oktober 2011 auch im Freiland täglich während der Gartenöffnungszeiten [link] begehen. An 21 Stationen mit Text-Bild-Tafeln stellen wir Ihnen ausgewählte Arten und ihre Besonderheiten vor. Wenn Sie ein internetfähiges Handy besitzen, können Sie an den einzelnen Stationen über einen 3D-Barcode weiterführende Informationen zur jeweils vorgestellten Palme abrufen. Die Webeinträge stammen aus dem von RBG Kew und BGBM Berlin-Dahlem gemeinsam erstellten englischsprachigen Informationssystem www.palmweb.org [link]. Ein Terminal, auf dem dieses Informationssystem ebenfalls eingesehen werden kann, befindet sich in der Ausstellung im Botanischen Museum. |

| May 20th 2011 to February 26th 2012, open daily from 9 a.m. to dusk Currently, the Botanic Garden Berlin-Dahlem cultivates about 60 Palm species with about 350 individuals. Not all of our palms are accessible for the general public, but the Main Tropical Greenhouse alone displays 36 genera with 47 species. You can walk our path of palms year-round in the conservatories, and until Oktober 2011 in the open land, daily during opening hours of the Botanic Garden[link]. 21 exhibition plates present different species and their specific features. If you have a mobile phone with internet access, you can download more information about each palm on display via 3D-Barcode. The information system www.palmweb.org [link]is a joint development between RBG Kew and BGBM Berlin-Dahlem. You can also browse this information system on a terminal in the Botanical Museums’ exhibition. |
