Das Drag-Sommerfest im Botanischen Garten Berlin
Nach dem überwältigenden Erfolg vom letzten Jahr geht „Queens & Flowers“ nun in die zweite Runde:
Am 23. August 2025 öffnet der Botanischen Garten Berlin wieder von 15:00 bis 22:00 Uhr seine Tore für das Open-Air-Drag-Sommerfest „Queens & Flowers“ – eine Feier der Diversität und des Miteinanders!
In den denkmalgeschützten Anlagen des Botanischen Gartens verschmelzen rund um das Große Tropenhaus Blütenpracht und Dragkunst zu einer einzigartigen Feier queerer Kultur. Wir bieten wieder ein abwechslungsreiches Programm für alle Altersgruppen und einen Tag voller Entertainment, Natur und Harmonie von Menschen und Pflanzen. Seid dabei und feiert mit uns! Veranstaltet wird das Event von Place2Be Berlin, der queeren Tourismus- und Event-Plattform des queeren Stadtmagazins SIEGESSÄULE, in Kooperation mit dem Botanischen Garten Berlin, gefördert und unterstützt von der Wirtschaftsförderung Steglitz-Zehlendorf, der Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe und visitBerlin.

Für Familien:
Neben der beliebten Dragqueen-Reading-Hour (ab 15:30 Uhr) auf dem Liegerasen, bei der Dragqueens aus Kinderbüchern vorlesen, gibt es Familienführungen in den Gewächshäusern, Mitmachangebote für Kids und mehr.

The Drag Summer Party at the Botanic Garden Berlin
After the overwhelming success last year, "Queens & Flowers" is returning for its second season: On August 23, 2025, the Botanic Garden Berlin will once again open its doors from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM for the open-air drag summer party "Queens & Flowers" — a celebration of diversity and togetherness!
Set in the midst of the historic grounds of the Botanic Garden, summer blossoms and drag art will merge into a unique celebration of queer culture. We offer a diverse program for all ages and a day full of entertainment, nature, and harmony — between people and plants. Join us and celebrate with us!
The event is organized by Place2Be Berlin, the queer tourism and event platform of the queer city magazine SIEGESSÄULE, in cooperation with the Botanic Garden Berlin, supported and funded by the Regional Economic Development Steglitz-Zehlendorf, the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises, and visitBerlin.

For Families:
In addition to the popular Drag Queen Reading Hour (starting at 3:30 PM) on the lawn area, where drag queens read from children's books, there will be family tours in the greenhouses, interactive activities for kids, and more.
